I have nostalgia for all them, actually, except for Alien which I was too young to appreciate and Prometheus which took a while for me to warm up to.

Alien.  Memories of seeing it in 1979 are rich for many reasons, chief among them the realization that science fiction cinema could go so far beyond spaceship fetishism, into realms of realism and even horror that I'd never before seen.  It has been very satisfying to see how the increasing application of technology and money have given science fiction entertainment the ability to ignite the dreams of real space men and women.

A3 because it's the only film in the franchise that didn't have its lore completely shitcanned in the next installment. maybe it did but i can't be arsed to care about resurrection.
