Ridley could stand a fair chance as a comic artist.

Having read the scripts, it's honestly kind of a miracle that the first Gladiator turned out as well as it did. Franzoni's draft wasn't all that, and Logan's was better but not by much. It's probably one of the few cases where constant rewrites actually helped the final product.

Very good timing, Ridley got to finish his F*ck You Tour 2023, and now he goes straight back to Gladiator II again.

Russell Crowe changed his X profile pic to Maximus - he knows exactly what he's doing lol

Shame. I wonder what circumstances he's referring to.

Perhaps prior commitments or health related?  :(

It works. They can always say Juba went looking for his wife.

They won't even mention his name :)

True shame. The only character that felt "organic" to return, if there ever was a sequel.

No Djimon Hounsou, no point.

Quote from: The Eighth Passenger on Nov 22, 2023, 12:09:54 PMA couple new details:

-In a Sky News interview Ridley said that they should finish shooting the rest of the film before Christmas.

-In a Rotten Tomatoes interview Ridley said Paul Mescal's character was in the wilderness for the last 12 years since we last saw him and his mother doesn't know whether he is still alive.

Seems like they are back to shooting after a short Christmas break:
