Oh yes they did just change into those other types, thought you meant they were the hard ones and yea if you could reach them before they transformed a good beat down would always sort them out, dual plasma rifles are also crazy good on them.

Also, does anyone know if you'll still be able to play local MP in Halo 4? You know, just with a few friends on the same X-Box, without having to play online.

That's been a staple of Halo from the get-go, so I'd assume so.

If not, well, I will be upset.

They're Flood Spartans. I like it; they don't apply to any particular armor set, they have the base suit of with most of the armor seemingly broken off, but they retain whatever colour the player picked.

Also, there's a clear strain of the Flood's control over the individual due to the integrity of the armor... so they seem to've blended with it for some odd biomechanical weave.

...Very fitting.

Well at the very least I can say this about the Flood: It's going to be interesting to see how their abilities will play out.
